Do I legally have to supply a debt collection company with my bank details?

I'm just over 1,000 pounds in debt and have agreed to pay 100 pound a month, before even taking a payment I was told this was only going to be suitable for 3 months then I would have the pay the rest in full.
These horrible people have said they wouldn't contact be until the 28th July to pay my first instalment, now I have missed calls and emails from them demanding three months bank slips and an expenditure list. Do i legally have to supply them with these details?
