Candle & Scent - is it a legit company?

If you have ever tried to buy anything through this site, get a free credit report through someone like Noddle or Clearscore, to make sure that someone hasn't tried to take out credit in your name. Although I was fortunate enough to sniff out the dodgy website after trying to buy and cancelled my credit card, I have now discovered that an attempt was made to take out credit through PayPal. After some tortuous attempts to contact PayPal fraud dept (not an easy thing to do), they are going to contact Noddle and advise them that this should have no impact on my credit score. What a faff!

I can't believe that despite them being reported & all these people having fraudulent attempts made, that nothing's being done about them! Who polices websites like this, it's disgusting!

Those in touch with Action Fraud may want to mention to them that Thomas Peter Milner, director of Pristine Screen Ltd at Unit Q, Tyson Courtyard, Weldon South Industrial Estate, Corby, Northamptonshire, England, NN18 8AZ, has the same date of birth as the Thomas Milner listed as director of Candle and Scent. It may be that the fraudsters have stolen his identity.
