Candle & Scent - is it a legit company?

I came back here to see if there were any more updates, as I saw this awful name pop up when googling something else. I noticed that the candle I had tried to order has now increased in price, probably to make it look more of a genuine site, selling at similar prices to elsewhere. I really wish there was some way to get their page closed down, as I fear there will be more and more people scammed, daily, with candles being so popular. Maybe it might be an idea for any Facebook users to post a public status, and ask people to share it.I am going to see if there are any Facebook candle fan pages / groups, and message them about this place. Disgusting. I don't know how they sleep at night.

I feel the same, the Trustpilot page set up by a very helpful poster on this thread now has 21 reviews (one of which is a highly suspect 5 star review) and they are all victims of this phishing website, how many other people have been defrauded and haven't posted about it?
I also informed Google that the site is featured on their sponsored results a couple of weeks ago, they are still there. It's incredibly frustrating as more people are being defrauded on a daily basis and we're powerless to prevent it.

Oh my goodness, I just googled candle and scent and found this thread, so glad I did .....I ordered from them several weeks ago, also have no confirmation email (I was sily but didn't check at the time), have not received the order but more worryingly my debit card details were recently used fraudulently. Should I contact Companies House? help much appreciated. Perhaps your daughter should alert the bank, I certainly will be.

Another way that it may be possible to get the website taken down is to try and contact the hosting service and report that it is a scam site. I'm not IT minded but the someone more au fait may be able to identify the web host from the whois info. The Admin address Kemp House, 152 City Rd, London EC1V 2NX is another virtual office as was Shelton Street, Covent Garden

Yes, my daughter did inform her bank, they said nothing had been taken out fraudulently, but she checks her bank every day. As she recently got married she'll receive a new card now thankfully.

I tried to order from this site using my credit card but got an email back saying my card had been declined. I tried again but got the same response. I then (STUPIDLY!!!) put in my debit card details. Still nothing.
2 weeks later I have had to cancel both cards because of fraudulant transactions on them. This is the only place I have used both cards. My PayPal and Amazon accounts only have my credit card details. In fact I very rarely use my Debit Card online.
Can't be 100% sure it's because of the this but wouldn't risk ordering from them ever again.

Yep, that's what happened to me. Nothing taken by them but other, much larger transactions from other companies.

I tried to purchase a Neom candle from this company last month and I received a message saying that the card was declined. I called my bank and there was no trace of an attempted transaction. I tried using another card and that too was declined so I gave up.
Today, i checked both cards and there have been fradulent transactions on them after the attempt to use the cards on this website.
Even the welcome email has spelling mistakes.

I'd be very careful. I ordered from this company, paid by Visa debit and got an email from them that my bank had declined my card. I called the bank and they said they had not declined any transactions. Possibly a coincidence but a few days later 2 fraudulent transactions were made on the same debit card amounting to about £500. Fortunately Natwest spotted the second one and blocked the card, alerted me and refunded the first one. As I say, maybe a coincidence, but they never asked my bank for the money for the original transaction.....
