Mr F has bugg£r£d off  Some boys reunion thing came up and he just decided he was going to go and s0d the conquences  So I am here sorting out all the Christmas stuff on my own and he is most definitely on Santa's Naughty List
I have made the Banoffee Ice Cream for our Christmas Eve pud and Braised Beef with Red Wine & Cranberry Sauce for our (early) Christmas lunch on Saturday. I shall make a couple of potato bakes today to help cut down the cooking whilst the family are here.
Today is cleaning bathrooms day... not my favourite. But at least with Mr F away they will stay clean :rotfl:
The builders finished laying the concrete floor yesterday so life should get progressively quieter from now on. They are hoping to start putting the wall cladding on today, which they say they can do quite quickly, but I don't think they'll be finished before Christmas as tomorrow is POETS day and they will be going off to the pub for their Christmas drinks. The door guys came out to take a look at the site so they can quote. Mr F is upping the spec as he goes along so they may cost us more than expected
FDawg is being an absolute angel at the moment :A Maybe he knows about Santa's lists :rotfl:
Hope all your preparations are going well.

Thank you Wish - although I won't have to. He came back this morningHe drove all the way to Wiltshire but said he couldn't forget the look on my face as he left and it haunted him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

- a new home
- and half a garage
- some new friends
- a dog
- celebrated two milestone family birthdays
- got Mr F settled into a new job
- survived storms and snow
- and I gained a new qualification
most of which has happened in the last five months
Blimey. ...
I'm very excited about 2018. It feels as though most of the hard work is over and we can start enjoying the fruits of our labours.Fortune_Smiles wrote: »Thank you Wish - although I won't have to. Thank you Karma. It was really helpful to look back over the year and recognise the enormity of what we'd achieved. Still can't quite believe it.
