Glad your sister got a win.
I'm looking forward to getting vaccinated. I want to feel freer to go out and do normal things. Poor DD when she was at 6th form was terrified she'd bring it home and kill us (and so was I). She's much happier schools are shut because of that...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks for popping in guys. I'm looking forward to getting the vaccine too. What a success story the roll out has been so far - well done to everyone involved.
So our hedge has had a hair cut - if only I could get one too, I'm starting to look like a Yeti! The hedge looks a bit odd as they've just cut the few feet under the overhead wires but it will bush out again in no time.
I've had a letter from DB Pension 2 confirming that they have my paperwork. I've closed our easy access savings accounts. One amount has already been transferred to premium bonds and the money from the second should land in the bank account today.
Lunch yesterday was Carrot & Artichoke Soup. Supper was Beetroot, Halloumi & Cashew Curry with enough left over for today's lunch too.
Other than that, nothing to report.
Happy Friday peeps.

Hello all 😘
and thanks for checking in on me. I'm fine. Just feeling a bit 'meh' and don't have a lot to report really. Nothing serious just lockdown getting to me I think. Trying to focus on the positives and upping my social interaction - virtually of course 😉
Lot of friends and family are getting their vaccine so that's good news. We could be in group 7, 8 or 9 depending on how quickly things move as we have birthdays over the next few months which will move us up.
Money wise I've submitted all of the paperwork for my DB pensions now and had confirmation of receipt. I've also worked out the savings plan and new budgets to accommodate the additional income. I've added an amount to my budget for random acts of kindness. I've been using our surplus fun money up until now to send notes and gifts to friend and family when they've needed cheering up. But the fun money will start to be used for fun again at some stage (soon I hope 😁).
On the health front I've been walking, practising yoga and eating healthily bar a few treats. I've also started scheduling writing and painting time to make sure I get a creative outlet as this definitely helps lift my spirits. My local writing group continues to meet on line and the writing group I used to attend before we moved has started on line meetings and have invited me to join them too 😁 I've found a table for the art area I'm planning upstairs so will order that soon.
Our orchard planting was cancelled as the ground was frozen hard on the planned date. We're now waiting to hear when the apple man can fit us in again.
The man who commited the crime against us has been found. The Police issued a press release and firstly, someone reported him, and then he came forward himself. We're waiting to hear what happens next.
I found out last night that the lady who organises my local on-line writing group is paying for the platform we use out of her own money. She says that she is using the platform for personal calls too so doesn't mind meeting the cost. I'd like to make a contribution though so that will be the first use of my random acts of kindness budget... if I can convince her to take the money. If not, I'll have to find a way of treating her once restrictions are lifted.
Stay positive peeps.

We're all feeling a bit fed up and it gets to us all at different times. You sound like you are doing everything you can/should to keep you positive. Keep on keeping on...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......6

You certainly are making a good effort to keep on top of things Fortune, very impressive. Still, this has been a gloomy old time and has gone on for a good long while now, and is getting to even the most cheerful amongst us. Good to see you taking steps to keep your spirits up, a lesson to us all if we can xx
Glad they caught your criminal! Gosh. Fingers crossed they get an appropriate telling off xx6
