My word, that *is* a lot, Fortune - I'm glad you're okay, and that there are quite a few highs in all that roller-coastering2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Awwwh - thanks guys. Feeling the virtual love
It's pay day today and Mr F had an early start this morning so I have already shuffled money around. We've not made as much in MOPs as I'd planned this year. However, we've had a lot of house maintenance and car expense and I'm so grateful we've been in a position to cover these costs. We've still made some progress on OPs and savings and I have money put aside for relaying our drive and repairing the log burner. Now I'm back on the forum I feel I'll be able to make more progress. Happy days
I'm determined to be more productive with my time too. First on today's job list - clean the Annex ready for this weekend's guests
Have a great Monday guys

I've lost my get up and go today. Yesterday was quite a productive day but today I've only just managed to push the hoover around
I think I'm just worn out. I have yoga tomorrow morning so I'm hoping I'll come back feeling revived
I've offered my Annex guests an earlier check in on Saturday which they have accepted. They get a bit more time and it means I can do the meet and greet in the morning and free up the rest of the day. Mr F and I are planning to do some more gardening this weekend and to have a day out at the seaside
Money has been spent today but only on essentials. I feel as though I've got more of a grip on the budget now. Good job too as there's no wriggle room for the next few months.
Night all

Fortunately my mojo did return
The Annex is ready to receive guests tomorrow and I've started Mr F's washing and ironing so he gets to wear pants for his next big business trip on Wednesday :rotfl:
The grocery shop arrived and came in £23.23 under budgetThere were Cardoons in my veg box this week  I've never cooked or eaten them before so that will be an adventure. If we like them I think I'll try to grow some. They look very impressive!
A girlfriend who was due to visit next week has cried off. Much as I'd love to see her, I was relieved as I could really do with a break from visitors for a while. People seem to want to come for a week now rather than for a weekend and it's just getting too much. I'm exhausted and skint
Apart from the arrival of our paying guests, Mr F and I have the whole weekend to ourselves :j Hooray!
Have a great weekend everyone

Pants are always good on a big business trip I suspect
Had to g@@gle Cardoons, I'll be interested to hear how they are cooked.
Enjoy your weekend and hope you get a bit of chill out time :cool:0
