Bank Letter instead of Bank Statement?

Is there anyway I can get a letter from the bank to show that I received a money from one recipient?

I am asking that because I need to provide a bank statement but I don't wish to share all of my transaction.

I've hear about bank letters but I am not sure.

Are you aware of any other ways?

I guess this goes hand-in-hand with your thread last month.

I don't think banks will faff around doing what you want.

Perhaps the easiest option is to provide a copy of your statement after crossing out the items you don't want to be seen.

Some banks will allow you to customise online statements in the way you wish, then print them out.

OP this site works best if you answer the queastrions posed in your first post. You were asked in that post which bank you were discussing which would have permited other users to help you better.

Barclays for example have systems that will allow you to limit the days that you print a statement for.

Shouldn't need a letter, surely you can search for the particular payment type in the particular date range.

Depending on what bank, they should be able to search for a specific transaction and just print that out on a statement with your address and all the relevant statements headings, but with just the one or few transactions you are requesting.
