Monna, my mum used to say. ' Whilst the neighbours are talking about me they are giving some other poor soul a rest'.

Just popping in to say I'm glad you slept monna .

Lovely to see you Lainey , do bring Lovely Lu and her long eyelashes with you . I keep thinking of the other thread has anyone seen Scottish Minnie on the forum ? Keep meaning to post there and then life takes over .

If I'd known you were awake during the wee small hours Mar I'd have joined you in a brew . I so remember the disturbed sleep with the torn rotator cuff .

Anyway I'm getting ready to go out and notice Docky is in the building . He seems to have ramped up his communication skills and not in a good way . Think you need to have a sharp word with him Lyn . Anti Poli is dashing round so I'll say Hewo Docki and run .

Close the blinds. Pull the curtains. Don't answer the door for at least 3 days.

    They seemed... grateful :rotfl:

Softstuff - that reminded me of Maggie Smiths line in the Best Marigold Hotel - ' plan ahead!! I don't even buy green bananas!
Monna - so much can be done these days to support poorly hearts and your brother is fitter than most ( not bigger! Silly tablet) it's early days but looking positive. Hugs xx
Grey here - waiting for the forecast showers to top up my water butts!
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Hmmm - I suspect the Elephant has gone on its holidays - that's a suspiciously large amount of bananas to be grateful to receive :D

Lainey, are you truly, absolooley sure of joining in this madhouse? It's addictive you know. Sometimes you will pinch yourself and think, "Did I really read that?" Or even worse, "Did I really write that?" Which in my case is a completely legitimate question, because I often write one thing and my tablet translates it into something quite bizarre. It had great fun with your user name. I don't know what a Lanier is. I must look it up.

Welcome anyway. This is the ultimate thread for all waifs and strays. Or waits and starrys, which was tablet's original version. See?

Madhouse?? Well that seals it then, will make up a straw bed for Lu and settle her in, with apologies for any fencers with hay fever.

morning gang......well, I escaped the jail cell!! But not without help. We ran out of time and needed help to solve the clues but it was great fun.
Wasn't physical at all, just needed to solve clues.
Gorgeous bright, sunny morning her, no rain forecast. Methinks someone was fibbing, or praps Dilly is blowing her hot air in my direction.
Whatever the reason, long may it continue.
Glad Monna got some well deserved rest and positive news.
Regarding Donny and other depressing news.........Stay strong everyone..........we've got this!!
We have survived worse and we can do it again.

    Lainey welcome!

I was a childhood phantom horse rider too :p along with my best mate - we would make jumps from anything we could find and have a gymkhana like in the Pullein-Thompson books, I even made some reins from ribbons :o
