Lovely fencers xx I'm fine. Sleeping, drinking tea & reading Fu Manchu. Howling screaming wind and 1C outside, seriously horrible day. We'd need lifelines today if we were standing at the Fence chatting!

Monna we've spoken about midge masks. :D we're putting our caravan on site in Scotland in few weeks. We've chosen a site that has lochs and forest on the doorstep. We're scratching our heads wondering why it's cheap... ahem, wally English :D

As you may have gathered I'm home. My antibodies are perfectly fine. There's nothing wrong with my immunity! My lung function is within normal range and now my asthma is being questioned because my constant peak flow is very good (aways over 500 for asthmatics) while my breathlessness on hills and the stairs is still a problem. His thinking is the breathlessness is down to the high heart rate issue. I'm keeping on with asthma treatment to keep the variables constant while we get to the bottom of the heart stuff. He looked at the echo report and was able to put my mind at rest - the deterioration detected is minor.

I asked why I was picking up so many infections and it seems that my lungs are now a target because they're weakened by previous illness. I have to just keep going as I'm going (minor panic about the weightloss and worried about thyroid issues until I said I had done it on purpose) and get healthier and fitter.

My heart rate was 136bpm. He asked about my anxiety and was I medicated. I'm not and I'm wondering if the heart issue could be down to years of just muddling through with all the stuff. I have questions to ask the cardiologist next month anyway.

So fuddle's is a happy fuddley once again. I'm off to go sand down my mallet and stain it some then it's off to the orthodontist to get DD's brace in place. I've warned her that her mother tongue of speaking fast (it's a bit of a Durham thing) may well be hampered somewhat. :D

Cocketts If you go into "User CP" in the bar above the posts, there's a list of "stuff" and the one nearly at the bottom is "Forum Version manager" which in theory should enable you to get back to the green version :)

    HTH.

Oh Yay! I'm back where I belong. Many thanks:T

Fuddle - breathlessness can be a symptom of iron deficiency. Have your had your serum ferritin tested (my breathing is appalling at the moment so I'm back on extra iron and vit C).

I had the 5 day message this morning, but had to get to work, so left it, when I got back home, it was working as normal, no need to reset anything - weird....

    Mini rant alert....

I was poorly at the weekend, we went to France and came back early Sunday morning, that’s when it started -but as you do, took some pills and cracked on with the post holiday washing, sorting for the work week, made soup, dinner blah blah blah still felt pants on Monday, but knew we were short staffed, so took more pills went in, made dinner for all when I got back, wacked some more washing in, fed cats etc ditto yesterday although feeling a bit better...

When I got home yesterday, Hubby was Home, feet up watching TV ‘stuff’ everywhere - he feels poorly so came home - like a good wife, I administered pills, water, sympathy.... he was off again today..

Now I don’t have an issue with him being poorly or off work, but why, WHY could he not manage to empty the dishwasher, feed the cats, empty the bins or put a wash on  Apparently he didn’t know any of it needed doing.... but could make himself food, pop to shop for Lucozade and create a nest of glasses, plates, bottles etc around him but not work out the fact that the bin was so full he couldn’t fit anything in it, so left stuff next to it

Good job I love the PITA.....

  • Way to go FUDS!!!

MAR I should think she sharpened the mallet (VERY old northern custom adopted from Viking times)and had it in her handbag in case the Consultant got out of line or said the wrong thing, good insurance policy methinks and as she didn't need to use it and might need it as a mallet in the future the sanding down to blunt it seems a sensible option! Of course there will be a surface application of cheese paste to ensure aesthetic excellence and preservation!
