Anyone know how good swift cover are?

Hello peeps, just been through moneysupermarket.com and got a quote for my partner. We have been paying £94 per month to AA for car insurance and decided to look else where as we were paying breakdown cover with RAC aswell £10per month. So we got a quote from Swift cover for car insurance and breakdown cover (the second most expensive one) and the quote for both was £44 per month total of £482.89 a year!!! So we are saving somewhere in the region of £400!!!!!!! :j anyone know anything about swift cover, good/bad????
Thanks!:D

• They advertise on being internet based, so you wonder what would happen if you need to speak to a humanbeing. I'm sure you can call them, but not sure what importance they place on the telephone, when they clearly like it all done online.
• Dear LauraLooDFWB,

I have used Swiftcover (I have a friend who works for them) and they are great. They are part of a much larger company and are seeking to gain market share.

One thing I like - is that all documentation is made available via the internet - so no lost documents (you can request a paper copy if you wish).

One downside, European travel is extra.

• Hi

We have used them two years ago and they were fine. We had an accident and they handled the situation very well with minimum hassale ( we were not at fault).
Double check your details when you go to visit their website as they come up the cheapest most of the times in comparison website, smipley because they don't include the replacement car, legal protection or protected NCB fees in the price you see on comparison website.

The administration side of them is brilliant. I echo what Andrew has said. Everything is available to online. You can print out the insurance policy stright away after you have purchased it.

In case of accident or a problem, you can call them normaly.

Did you check confused.com in addition to moneysupermarket?
Be nice, life is too short to be anything else.
• Came across them through the GP site and found them to be very efficient (and I don't have a friend who works for them) with very competitive quote and no hassle cashback.

In reply to the question about calling swiftcover.com - just to answer this in more detail - there is a full section on the site here about how to contact them by phone. Basically they are open normal sort of hours for making a claim and contact numbers are listed (have just cut and pasted these for you - these are for car insurance claims).

Phone from UK 0871 984 3333
Phone from Abroad 0044 1892 500169
By Email claims@swiftcover.com

Can I just add that if you have any positive or indeed negative experiences of swftcover.com please feel free to add them to the new blog on the new customer feedback page.
