Looks like we're just discussing the accrued interest on the late payments then. Plus their legal fees when the case inevitably doesn't go your way.0 -
Back in the real world... offer 3-6 installments. They really WON'T do any of the drastic measures some people feel obliged to discuss above.
Even send them 6 dated cheques in the one go.0 -
I'm with glasgowdan, except the post-dated cheques bit, that has a bit of a history of going badly.0

If you post post dated cheques you are at the mercy of the solicitors and the bank not to process them. The bank will do no checks on the date on £100 cheques being presented.0
