Time limitations for data roaming?

I will be working in Norway for the next 10 months. I know most providers now allow free data roaming for holidays, but does anyone know if there is a limit to how long this applies? I am with TalkTalk currently, and their help line have assured me that I can just use it as normal all the time, but their website says "Roam Like at Home is for UK customers travelling abroad, so if you’re in Europe for more than just a holiday or business trip, some additional charges may apply."
I have given up trying to get any more info from them - it clearly isn't in their script - so wondered if any of you are better informed.

Most allow only a few weeks to a couple of months abroad usage before charging for roaming. This is a part of the EU regulations to prevent people finding a cheap deal in one country and then using it permanently in another.0

I would get a local SIM for data and possibly calls, cancel the TalkTalk contract and port your UK number to a pay as you go arrangement, almost any if for incoming calls only, or for oitgoing possibly either Three or Toggle Mobile (Toggle can have both UK and Norway (and other) numbers on the SIM). 3 pence a minute. If you will still make plenty of UK calls and 3p comes out expensive, then also look into VoIP (from well under a penny a minute, or including apps that are free between co-users)0

You can roam in the EU for upto 183 days after which its no longer classed as roam at home0
