BBC iplayer / ipad

This may sound mad, but I'm nit the most technical person..

Apparently it's a common fault at the mo, that iplayer will,let you play but not download programmes.

Been in touch with iplayer forum on f/b they suggested..

Turning off wifi
Take off the iplayer app
Re turning on wifi
Downloading iplayer

Should work.

This is the bit get stuck on..
When take the app off says deleted but then when I go to down load again, it's stored in the cloud...

Is there a way of getting it out of the cloud...

Not 100%, but I think if you use the search facility on your iPad for apps etc, just type in BBC and it should appear .

Just pick on the cloud icon, it should then download to your iPad.

Where are you? Playing is fine abroad but downloads won't work.
Or are you somehow connected to an Internet service that the BBC thinks is outside of the UK?
