no idea, can't say I noticed, why would it be? Generally I ignore the price on the item since I know that is only a sugested starting point for negotiation.

Haven't bought from the website but have bought telly's and an HD recorder from S&R always got a good deal and on the one occasion I did have a faulty plasma it was swapped out with no bother - unlike some horror stories I have heard about other suppliers!. IMO even if it's not illegal I like prices to be displayed, unless you have really done your homework you could end up paying over the odds.

  • Seems to be a few people recently who enjoy eating out in Bangor :rotfl:

OK seems to be some sort of joke going on here, I am new to posting threads on this site, but have read lots. What does this mean !!!
  • sorry diamond95..............its nothing personal! Its just when someone new makes their first post and its to recommend a company ect it can look like you work for that company and fancy abit of free advertising, lol. Im sure thats not the case but most times it will be pointed out by someone....!
The Bangor thing is a long running joke now to the local thread-have a look for a thread about eating out in bangor that involves customer service issues and you will see!!
*hope no one minds me pointing this out but its not nice to feel left out and we are such a close nit little family!!!*

Yep, it is illegal under the Price Marking Order (Northern Ireland) 1992 (amended since). Report to Trading Standards here.

If you are offering items for retail sale to the public, then every item must be individually, and clearly, and correctly priced. (A caveat is e.g. a box of packets of sweets. As long as the price was clearly marked on the carton, and it was obvious that all the packs in that box are that price, you would only have to showw thwe price on the box...not on every pack of sweets).

Are you sure about each item being indvidualy priced? If that was the case then tescos would be in diffs since they only price on the shelf edge?
