Pet insurance costs

Has anyone complained against their pet insurance quote as mentioned by Martin, and successfully seen a reduction of some sort?
My cat has had two long term conditions which have maxed out his insurance twice. His yearly max claim is £2000. He usually has a steady claim of medication for the bladder medication and for his asthma which has never been maxed out. Last year he added iron which was maxed out but the other two have not been. Iron should not need to be claimed for again.
So with this in mind Floyds MONTHLY bill has gone from £105 a month which I thought was fair for the amount of claims he has made, to £295 a MONTH. I can't justify paying almost my mortgage payment for cat insurance.
I have looked at https://boughtbymany.com/ but at the minute they still can't decide if I dont make a claim from them for 3 months, whether that means they will allow me to then claim as a pre existing condition that they allow.
Any advice is much welcome!

You can claim if your dog has not received any treatment or advice in the three months. If your dog is receiving ongoing treatment then that will not qualify.
Also the mount of your claim is limited to £500 in the forst year and increases to £1000 the next year if you do not claim
If you do claim you are limited to £500
