Evicting Family from your property

  • My family and I have been residing in my late father's property which he held 50% shares in a tenancy in common with his brother. My father's 50% share is held in interest for me. My uncle had no objection when we asked to move in. My uncle now wants to evict us using the clause in the deed of variation whereby it states ' my uncle can 'occupy the house free of charge so long as he wishes or is able to do so'. Are there any countermeasures to this?

As suggested in the previous post, it would be better for you to start a new thread rather than tag your question to the end of a three year old one - otherwise people are likely to start answering the old query rather than yours.
