Temporary covering up wallpaper

I'm moving into a new rented property next month and the landlord has said I'm not allowed to paint over/wallpaper a wall in 1 of the bedrooms that has some really old fashioned floral wallpaper on one of the walls.
Is there anything out there that can be used as temporary cover and easily removed if needed without damaging the paper underneath?

You could put a load of pictures up on it to hide it - he didn't say you couldn't hammer picture holders into the wall did he?0

Going to guess that if they don't want the paper painted on or replaced then they are also likely to be unhappy with other more minor acts of destruction such as hammering stuff into it.

Arrange your furniture so that as much of that wall is covered by it....after a few weeks you will probably not notice what is on the wall....it may just be appearing to loom large at the moment because the room is empty
I guess if it becomes a real issue then once the tenancy is up you can then move onfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
