Always find your own conveyancer.
Personally I recommend using someone local. Visist some local firms and decide which you feen most comfortable with.0 -
Read up on 'online conveyancing' on here - there's been plenty said in the past (some favourable, some not). Not advisable to listen to a newbie who's obviously here to advertise, albeit not as blatantly as some.
A solicitor linked in any way to the developer will not necessarily be favourable to you. As above, you should use an independent solicitor who will have your best interests in mind, not that of the developer who either get commission or get ongoing business from them, or are linked by an umbrella company (or all of the above).2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
1) I disagree. far better to be able to speak face to face to your conveyancer if you have queries or issues arisexxxxConveyancing wrote: »Definitely find your own, and they don't need to be local either. Go for one with an Instant Quote service and 24/7 access to your case - a good sign they are modern !
2) meeting your conveyancer face to face before instructing them allows you to get a real feel for their professionalism and approachability
3) with a local firm you can collect/drop off/sign documents same day
And finally - your post has been reported (edit: & removed) It's a thinly disguised piece of advertising!0
