    My Xbox One was just over a month out of warranty and they repaired (replaced) free of charge, might be worth a punt either trying to arrange the repair first, or using their online chat.

    Failing that, the price of PC's drop fast, tablets even more, £700 back without any sort of hassle in terms of independent report is pretty decent. Especially as you can get a i7 8GB 256 Surface 4 Pro for £800 from CEX (with 24 month guarantee) Or i5 8GB 256 for £~700 Here
