How to make a pond crystal clear?????

Have you not started identical threads several times? Why not stick to one, provide feedback on the solutions offered, and you might have the problem sorted.
You have done the same with your multiple threads on roses, and chicken pellets!

Why not stick to one thread, so we can know what the problems are, what has been suggested (much has), what you have done, what you have not done, what else we can suggest. It means we can help you more.

Stick to one thread on one subject, until you have an answer.

For this thread, I'd have to look back at the eight others on your pond to find out what kind of cloudy, what type of pond, what kind of fish.... What has been suggested. I'd have to assume you had tried what had been suggested, and guess it hadn't worked, as you almost ndver tell us.

Same with your long list of threads on roses, blackspot, feeding bloodmeal.... It's difficult to help, especially when new threads spring up, without knowing if you've done what was ladt recommended.

We do love to help, we really do. But, it helps to have all the information in one thread per subject.

This is a bad year, too warm, too dry. It will clear as the weather cools...

If your pond was crystal clear, then it would be a dead life-less place and there would be something far wrong with it. T'aint natural!

Just used a product recommended to me called Pond Clear by Nishikoi. Its cleared the pond in 2 days!

Never, ever use chemicals, a good biological filter, and uv lamp will keep any pond crystal clear, do you have fish ?

Well while we are on the subject of ponds - I have a tiny one. I was hoping for frogs and newts but none have yet appeared. I do the odd damsel fly and water snails but also have that slimy stuff that I think is called blanket weed. Is there any way of destroying it without harming the marsh marigold or the water lily? And of course any pond life.

It takes a few years for an ecosystem to settle down and for the frogs etc to arrive (if they are in the neighbourhood). I get plenty of newts in my (damp) log-pile and the odd toad in corners of the garden, but never seen them anywhere near my "pond". They may be using it unseen, or may prefer somewhere else.

If your pond is tiny, just use your fingers to rake out the weed, but leave it on the edge of the pond for a few days for anything to crawl back into the water.

Yes I have Koy and goldfish. All very happy. Its nice to see them now the waters clear and the algae has gone
