I am planning to lay engineered wood floor in a room (24 sqaure metre). I have been quoted £375 for labour...Is that a fair charge? I am in the midlands

How long have the said it will take. £200 a day is a good starting point.0

We've just had 33 square metres fitted - fiddly hall way, not so fiddly lounge and dining room.
It took 1 chap 3 full days days ( 8 to 6) and he charged us £900 - but that included new skirting boards throughout and all the nails etc.
We could have got someone cheaper, but he came highly recommended - and he's done a superb job.
Sorry, but we're not in the midlands.0 -
thank you guys. What I wanted to know is what is the average labour cost per square metre?0
