Greenhouse Installation
Hello,
Not sure if anyone can help but I have been saving for a greenhouse oh I cannot wait. However, I am unable to find any companies or people that seem to carry out greenhouse installations. I have been searching online, looked in our local papers even been to our local DIY store to see if anyone was advertising and no joy. I have also asked the company that I shall be buying the greenhouse from, who advised they have list and will let me have it after I have brought and paid for the greenhouse. The trouble is I am really worried as what if I cannot get anyone from the list as there is no way I could install a greenhouse by myself. So I just wondered if anyone knew of anyone/companies that cover the Milton Keynes/Buckinghamshire area.

Agrre with the last poster. Search on yell.com for a gardener/handyman.
When my new one was fitted, it was replacing an old timber framed one, with slightly different dimensions.
It took them longer than they expected, but it got done ok in the end.
Some suppliers offer an installation service as well.
Where you are is there a local social media that you could ask for recommendations e.g. nextdoor, mylocalforum, or kahuti?I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I did it myself, but i was doing it by myself and did struggle.
I put small flags down for the floor, then layed a row of bricks all around for the greenhouse to sit on. I didn't use glass, i used plastic and the first decent wind we had sent the greenhouse across the garden. So once it was back in place i made sure it was well secured to the base with long screws/bolts.
Agree look for a local handyman or see will any of the neighbours help.0 -
I built my last greenhouse. It was easy. Just don't rush it.
Like others have said making sure the ground is flat and level is the hardest bit!YNWA

Greenhouse erection is pretty simple as long as you take your time, and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Failing that just Google the term "Greenhouse Installation" and you'll find comapnies offering the service. You'll find me in the garden. In the shed. In my greenhouses. Or maybe the local hostelry!0
