Ppi mis-selling payment

Hi,wondering if anybody has any experiences similar to mine they can help with? I used the Resolver app recommended by M.S.E... it was for a case about my bank where I've been a customer since 1996 and had at least 4/5 loans,overdraft for about 10 years and a credit card-all before 2010. Even though they were asked to reply at the resolver account email address,they sent me a letter saying they would look into it.that was about a month ago.today I notice that they've credited my bank account with £247... I've had no other correspondence from them,either on Reaolver or by post.i just wondered if I should check with themhow they've come to this amount and what it pertains to? Because they've not explained it or beengood at communicating with me?thanks
