At Preston Park Museum & Grounds in Stockton this summer, you can do more than just lounge about on the grass: their Theatre in the Park festival will be home to some of the most enchanting theatrical productions, from 8–20 August. It promises to be a fantastic few weeks of outdoor theatre – and we have three family tickets to give away to Living North readers. Pick the performance of your choosing and get a ticket to admit two adults and two children, worth £36.
David Walliams’ children’s classic Billionaire Boy kicks off proceedings on 8 and 9 August at 6pm, swiftly followed by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice on 11 August, also at 6pm. Julia Donaldson’s The Smartest Giant in Town will be performed on 13 August at 5pm, and the laugh-a-minute Dogs Don’t Do Ballet on 15 August at 3.30pm. Finally, The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (suitable for older children and their families) will close out the festival on 20 August at 6pm.
