summer bay holidays.com

I received an email saying I had 'won' a holiday to Floriday and had 3 minutes to claim. When I phoned the number given I was on the phone for 45 minutes being told everything I had won, which sounded great. I had to pay £200 for the privilige though and had to give them my answer straight away. It sounded brilliant so I said yes (stupid I know) Anyway, it has turned out it is a timeshare and , although I have 'won' all this I will still have to pay for flights. I have tried to cancel and they won't let me saying it needs to be input on their system before they can access it. Can anyone please help? Are they telling me the truth or can I cancel straight away? I would appreciate not being told how stupid it is too, because I do already know this and have kicked myself several times over!!!!!
:o

How did u pay for this, if it was by credit card or debit card i would just cancel it by phone with the bank.
Im not 100% sure but in this country you have a 14 day cooling off period, im sure someone more in the know will be along soon to help you.
    Good luck.
  • It was by debit card but the bank say I have to cancel it with the company, who won't let me yet because its 'not showing up on their system'.
