But not if they are stored correctly they will not deteriorate or expire rapidly.
If you buy certain types of glue it will expire very rapidly if stored in an incorrect container with no lid on. But if i bought some glue online they couldn't say it cannot be cancelled.
So i would say it only applied to items which expire rapidly even when stored correctly.
Ice does deteriorate even in a freezer. When it goes onto defrost, there is a drop in temperature. Over a long period ice will deteriorate.
We have on occasion had very large ice orders of multiple pallets. If our freezer is already full up with ice sculptures then we place an order for the ice cubes and arrange collection for on the day of delivery. We sometime pay prior to the actual collection date. If the client then cancells then that leaves us only able to store a certain amount of ice and not all of it.0 -

Then you need to store it in a freezer without a defrost cycle or the defrost cycle turned off.
Just think about how many millions of years ice in Antarctica has remained frozen. It has also not deteriorated over that time because some people have it imported when they need a large block of clear ice.jcarver007 wrote: »We have on occasion had very large ice orders of multiple pallets. This is irrelevant when it comes to the consumers rights to cancel. Not being able to store the goods is not a valid reason under consumer rights law to not allow them to cancel.
If you are unable/unwilling to comply with the consumer rights laws then you should not be taking the orders.0 -

You do not get clear ice from Antartica...And a defrost system is necessary in walk in freezers to prevent build-up of ice around the evaporator, avoiding equipment failure....but what do I know.
Other points understood.
However my point earlier on seems to have been missed. Online ticket companies state that no refund is given on tickets bought for say theatre or an event. How are these tickets bespoke? The customer is picking a time and date. Sometimes the ticket provider is offering the seat location and other times the customer can choose where to sit.0 -

Tickets and travel are completely exempt from CCR distance selling regs, nothing to do with being 'bespoke'.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Those type of contract (if the contract provides for specific dates for performance) are only exempt from the statutory right to cancel. The rest of the regulations still apply - so must provide the necessary information, obey the rules regarding additional payments etc.
And of course if no specific date/s for performance then the regulations apply in full including the right to cancel.
So you buy a ticket (to an event or perhaps for travel) that can be used at any time within the next 3 months or perhaps can be used any monday in the next year, you would still have the right to cancel for those. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
