Anyone used Neon Flex?

I am looking at adding some feature lighting to my decking and like the look of neon flex.
It will be for the steps (to provide a little light at night time) as well as to to go around the front of the decking. I will also look at adding some around the top of the 2 bay windows to help light the deck at night when we are using it.
The low level stuff should ideally be RGBW but the high level stuff could just be W (preferably) or WW.
Can anyone recommend a brand or a supplier for good quality stuff (have heard that Epistar chips are something I should be looking for) that isn't overpriced because it is a niche product?
Should I be looking at 5050 or 2835 LED's? 30 or 60/m?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Phil
