Bulb - Referral Fees?

I have a question concerning referrals and the £50 you receive when someone uses your link. I have a friend who has been with Bulb for a few months now and was able to rack up quite a bit of credit by using their referral code. Because they had so much credit, Bulb offered them the opportunity to redeem some of that credit in cash. I was wondering if this is standard, and if there is a certain amount you need to have in order to redeem cash, and also if there is a limit as to how much money you can redeem (as long as you have the credit you have accumulated, of course). Hi JFinlay, sorry for not seeing your question before.

Any member can have their credit refunded at any time, they just need to ask us. As long as they leave their account in a sensible amount of credit for their energy use then we're happy. We get proactive about it when members have a large amount of credit, so that's why we got in touch with your friend.

There is no limit to the amount of money that you can get refunded. We've even refunded thousands at a time for some of our most prolific referrers. And there's no limit to the number of members you can refer.
