What have xl done to my flight?

For the past few weeks I have been checking flights for August 08 from Newcastle to Faro with xl (7 August to 21 August with air MAlta on behalf of xl). I have finally got enough clubcard vouchers to book my flight and lo and behold they are not appearing online any longer. When I have contacted xl they cannot give me an explanation as to what has happened either.

Has anyone booked and now had their flights cancelled?

I rang them up at the weekend and they have cancelled the flight for next year.
I'm going to spend mine on Palma now

Good job I hadn't actually booked then as I could have been really stuck if I'd paid with the clubcard vouchers!

yes i've booked with xl.com then they cancelled the route

Did you use clubcard vouchers?

They also cancelled a Gatwick to Faro in June 2008.

So if I book with my clubcard vouchers, how would they refund me? Any ideas anyone.....?

Yes i used clubcard vouchers for part payment.

had to pay the taxes etc cash this was refuned straight away.

clubcard vouchers go back to tesco and are added on your next statement.

but i complained about this, because i wanted to book another holiday. so i was told that i could have the vouchers straightaway. Well 6 weeks later i got them.

i ordered £1500 worth of tesco clubcard vouchers this week and on thursday night i booked 2 weeks in goa. :T
