It's easy on the eye,
Though as to why your laptop's dead
I really don't know why.0 -
Try:
1. Disconnect laptop from power cord
2. Take out battery
3. Hold power button for 30 seconds
4. Put battery back
5. Connect to power cord
6. You can see that the orange light is on
7. Press power button to boot up laptop0 -
Try following. Let the computer be turned off. No lights should be on. Then disconnect all the wires, for example the charger wire. Then remove the battery and re-plug the charger wire. When you turn on the power, the screen should come up and Windows should start as normal.0

We really could be more helpful to YOU if you quoted the actual model of Toshiba Satellite.
All three lights usually means it is too busted to even do POST (Power On Self Test), I think the most likely candidates are Memory, CPU, Motherboard.
However, it could also be the CMOS battery that holds the settings.
If you are techy minded you could take out memory modules (if there are two) and put one back at a time to eliminate if one faulty.
Also worth trying to boot with no ram to see if lights change
After watching this video you might be prepared to pay your local computer tech shop to have a look or else just get a reconditioned PC from about £175.
Hi sorry i didn't post model no but it wasn't because i didn't think too i can not see model no on underside of my laptop so i do apologize am not very techie minded to be honest
But if you can tell me how to find the memory modules and ram i will give it a go
And thank you xi came into the world with nothing, and guess what? i still have it!!!:p0 -

It's a very simple to service laptop. You only need to remove one screw in order to gain access to the CMOS battery, HDD and RAM.

Do you use this laptop on a hard and flat surface or sometimes on the bed, for instance?
Anyway, take the CMOS battery out for 30 seconds and then replace it.0
