It is on the longest cable yes, as its the TV in the backroom, with the splitter being near the TV downstairs at the front room. Just want it to rain now so I can see if it happens again

Does the cable pass anywhere where it could be rubbing and have a hole in it, or does it have any serious bends in it?0

Its over the roof so hard to inspect it, guess the wind maybe rubbing it against the tiles although never experienced this happening.
If it happens again I will put another tv on that connection to see if it still does it0 -

Have you checked the entire run of the cable from the splitter to the last TV? A kink could mean a damaged inner core.0 -

As it runs over the roof of the house and happened late last night, not fully no. No kinks where the cable enters the house into the splitter. Outside I had a quick visual inspection and doesn't seem to have any kinks, runs up the wall of the house, over the roof into the bedroom and looks ok, but not been on the ladders to have a proper look.
Its was installed many years ago and never had issues before yesterday tho0 -
