From Chapman Entertainment, the creators of Bob The Builder and Fifi and The Flowertots, comes Roary The Racing Car. Available on DVD for the first time this October, Roary the Racing Car is packed full of fun, mishaps and mayhem! The UK’s top comic, Peter Kay provides the voice of Big Chris, the chief mechanic and father figure to all the cars, and racing legend Sir Stirling Moss narrates the series.
Roary’s First Day follows the adventures of Roary, a bright, cheeky energetic single-seater car and his friends at Silver Hatch race track. Roary’s enthusiasm and curiosity often leads him into trouble but with a heart of chrome under his bonnet and a team of turbo charged loveable friends, he always seems to make amends.
Roary’s First Day, released on DVD on 22nd October, features five episodes from the hit pre-school animation series airing on Five’s Milkshake and Nick Junior:
• Roary’s First Day – Roary is nervous before a big race the next day. Big Chris tells him the story about the day the brave little red racing car arrived at Silver Hatch Race Track.
• Chris Flags it Up – Marsha is feeling ill and Big Chris sends her home, telling her not to worry, he and Roary will take over her job for the day. Disaster strikes when he mistakes the flags for oily rags… Will they be able to find something else to use instead?
• Flash Flips Out - The cars at Silver Hatch are having new turbo chargers fitted to make them even faster. Flash the Rabbit is less than happy as that means they'll be even more noise!
But how far will Flash go to get some peace and quiet?
• Rusty Remembers – Rusty is feeling neglected. He remembers how life used to be, when he was a young caravan, so Roary and the other cars show Rusty just how much they care for and respect him.
• Blue Light Job – Drifter’s neon light isn’t working and Big Chris is determined he can fix it even without the use of a manual. The others aren’t so sure, but where could Drifter’s manual be?
This unmissable DVD also comes packed with extras including three sing-a-long songs and much much more!
