Well that's a weird one ... I went to Pepipoo forums to check on something and got the message:

Your account has been temporarily suspended. This suspension is due to end on Thu, 13 Jul 2017 - 16:35.

Wait ... what?

I have absolutely NO IDEA why that would be. I rarely even post over there, and none of my posts transgress any rule as far as I can tell.

I've emailed forum admin to see what this is about. Anyone else had any weird issue like that over there?

My recent thread is still there (showforum=5 ... S172 notice on page 2) and it's not locked, so I have no idea what's going on.

I wonder if there's been a cull and I've been caught in the cross-fire?

The only thread I posted in recently (that I can remember - I rarely post there) was my own ... and that's still open.

I was given a few days suspension there for a minor infraction a year ago. AFAIAA, I am still suspended. I think that they have a problem with competence.

In the OP it is described that the OP had to "slam on the brakes" soon after the "incident" because of queuing traffic. Suggests to me that OP's observation skills need a tune up, and that the off duty officer was aware of the queue up ahead.

Sheesh! I guess the mods must be really busy over there if THAT is worthy of a 7 day suspension. :rotfl:

Going public on a private message from a VIP forum moderator won't go down well if you are hoping to get your ban lifted.

Pepipoo is a good place and this thread shouldn't put newbies off it

What I quoted were the exact words from the forum post. (I remembered the post once I received the email - it wasn't a PM). I have therefore quoted my own words, not those of a forum admin/moderator.
