Does anybody know if Halifax does a credit check if you request a credit limit increase?

I'm pretty certain that they do as at the end of credit increase request, it states that they will perform a credit search.0

From my experience no credit check is applied. They have a pre-approved limit running in the back ground which you won't know until you apply for it.
We held number of LBG card Lloyd's Halifax and BOS between me and my other half and credit check never been applied on limit increase.
Also if you limit is 6k and you apply for 10k they will tell immediately how much they can offer you or they will reject straight away.0 -
It depends if its via the site they base it on internal records0
