Buyers Market?

Buyers market. A number of properties have come onto the market in the last week around here. A noticable dip in prices. Though a few are no chain. Perhaps ex-rental property.0

I live in Belper, apparently we have the highest increasing prices in the UK, friend of mine is struggling to buy here so it's definitely a seller's market at the moment.0

Unusually we have a number still sticking here. Perhaps it's just the summer slowdown. People looking to move before the new school year have already done so. Also there's a large amount of new house building. As a result people have a choice. Brand new or the hassles of a 1930's build.0 -
perhaps you can help....I live in Brighton (well...Hove, actually), my accountant said that some of his customers have dumped all their property, i.e., sold up as much as they can, due to....I can't remember what he said! Is it the stamp duty thing (although that's more to do with buying). Is it not being able to claim your mortgage against profits? I really should find out, as I'm idly browsing for a house.
Fox And Sons showed me 6 today, which may suggest its a buyers market. Maybe because all those landlords put their portfolios on the market!0
