Scottish Power Smart Meter - What does Year mean?

We've just bought a house with a Scottish Power dual fuel smart meter.

Looking at the display unit you can select Year as a time frame. However, is this year to date or the past twelve months?

Thanks.

    For the year to date.

Get the In-Home Display user guide from the Scottish Power smart meters page (see resource library at bottom of page).

    It states:
"View energy use across a timeframe
    1. Press to show you what you’re using right now.
    2. Continue to press ,
    and the display will
    change the time to:
    • So far today
    • So far this week
    • So far this month
    • So far this year."
