Could i suggest if you can make it down to Waterford direction apparently the local SF hierarchy are holding some sort of `take you out` do!

I glean from local reports that even a local SF councillor has been offered this freebie

Sinn F!in councillor says he was warned that he would be "taken out"

Probably have some nice restaurant in mind, it`ll take your mind off all those nasty hate-filled marched up North.

All in an atmosphere of `Equality` and `Respect`

    Enjoy yourself!

I'm intrigued by Paul hogan and that kangaroo court. Should it not have been a crocodile?

Tell them to take a running jump and hop it, Paul.

I seem to have caused offence, I was not aware this behaviour had and degree of support. Having reviewed social media including the LAD page I do wonder how anyone could support this ghastly behaviour.

I'm new to Ireland and I've just became aware of of the secterian hate rampage on July 12th. I plan to go down to Mayo from the 11th to 16th, is this long enough and will I be safe to return then? The though of my house being destroyed or getting caught up in the violence of the day where I could end up dead terrifies me.

What is the norm leaving duration in Ireland for this time?

    Your having a Laugh??
Is It here Northern Ireland you Live in?

Pretty absurd topic in general but I'll bite on one aspect not addressed.

You mentioned LAD on social media, this is a fairly biased and inaccurate page in general with a questionable following. They recently posted a video of cars getting stuck on Rossnowlagh beach and alluded this must have been Orangemen as it was at the ROI Twelfth. Firstly there is no evidence these are Orangemen or even supporters and they could well have been there just for the day. Parade participants generally park in the assembly field which is over one mile away and to park on the beach would have been an inconvenience. Finally on this topic the Twelfth here as in many areas it is a family orientated, relaxed and fun day so be careful what you read or hear.

I would also say I'm a participant in these parades and it's been years since I've eaten a Catholic baby.

Oh you havent cause offence at all. Quite the reverse.

Your comments are actually very amusing - for example you refer to people involved in these "hate" marches as "scum".

The irony of that made me laugh out loud.

, I was not aware this behaviour had and degree of support. .

Any degree, possibly? Several hundred thousand people turn up and you're not aware there's any degree of support? That reminds me of a lying Englishman I once met who claimed he'd never met anyone who votes Labour.

Just checked LAD. Nothing like a bit of seething hatred to calm yourself, is there? If it was actually funny, it might have been worth it, but it was just cac. (That's an Irish word.)

You must be thinking of the internment parades?

Genuinely - its really really great that the 12th July parade agitates you as it clearly does.

You might try to cover it up with a bit of silly trolling, but genuinely, i'm glad it gets to you.

Its a great day out and a celebration of culture and history for many people -well into 100 odd thousand.

The fact it !!!!es a few republican sympathisers like you off is merely an added bonus.
