Getting out before the 12th

As long as there is a single Orange Man in a single Orange Order, there will be a 12th July Parade.
And if you look at the sheer numbers at each of the many demonstrations throughout Northern Ireland and beyond, thats not happening any time soon.
For a lodge to exist it needs five members. Too many people attend the Twelfth but don't realise what goes into making it happen and there is definitely a need for new blood.0 -
You seem to have it well analysed. No orange order, and the Catholic Church is about to grind to a juddering halt as the numbers of priests collapse. Then what are we left with? Peace?“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

Do you believe the Orange are a problem?0 -
Looks like Arlene is getting another boost this morning, now that Teresa's majority has been cut further by one of her mps getting the red card last night. What makes someone use foolish American civil war era terms like that?
Any more nonsense and Nigel dodds will be offered a job in the cabinet.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
I have a 2 hour drive tomorrow to get to a funeral tomorrow morning and not looking forward it, will have to leave early to ensure we have time for all the diversions, and then 2 hours home again - won't be staying long after the funeral as want to get home again before any trouble kicks off.
Also leaving work early tonight, as want to get home before the bonfires!0 -
I got out this morning at 7 am, hugely relieved to be safe. Heartened to hear that marchers are declining.0

Someone set the Carrick/Castkemara one off last night. I bet they're not well chuffed about that: 5 storeys of pallets they've been stacking for the last couple of months gone, just like that.0 -
