But S75 of The Consumer Credit Act (and that MSE article) effectively say that if one has a valid claim against a seller one also has exactly the same claim against the credit provider.The link above though doesn't cover change of mind refunds in non eligible situations.
Thus if it is deemed that the seller must allow a cancellation and provide a refund, then the consumer can look towards the credit card provider for that refund.0 -

But it doesn't appear to be a non eligible situation
If the buyer is entitled to cancel the contract because the tickets purchased were not for a specific time or date (and the tickets in question have a one year validity) then they are legally allowed to cancel and obtain a full refund and if this request is refused then there is a breach of the buyer's statutory rights.0 -
Attraction Tickets Direct act as a broker as per their T & C's this will complicate any Section 75 claim.0

Who was the deposit paid to? If it was paid to ATD then I'd argue that there's a direct relationship per S75 requirements. ATD aren't a payment portal like Paypal.0
