Relax, Take some deep breaths and maybe a drink of water...
(You sound like the type of person who is fully prepared...)
  • I WON!!

The claimant was rattled by my RoA, the judge said immediately that it worried him and asked her to clarify. She seemed unable and eventually the judge said "goodbye" to her.
She eventually said she was an employee (account manager) of first parking and then judge then agreed.

    So we moved on,

Immediately the judge asked for the claimants WS. Turns out they never submitted a WS so there was no evidence.

The judge struck the claim out and I didn't even use any of my arguments.

Thank you so much everyone on this forum

Wow - great news, you’ve just made a miserable (weather) day so much brighter.

Glad the last minute RoA questioning got them rattled and the judge wound up and on your side.

When everything is (and you) calmer, can you give us a bit of a court report about who the judge was, which court, who the 2 people were who were representing the PPC and anything else you recall - after the euphoria has settled.

    Well done!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Costs? CPR27(1)(2)(g)

You must have put in several hours on this. For them to send a box wallah, (Hobson Jobson), and forget the WS must surely be unreasonable andrt

You deserved it with your hard work.

    Congrats.

I have a feeling there may be a Prankster article coming on about yet another co** up by Gladstones - though with a happy ending.
