Plumbing and drainage insurance

When I moved into this property I was tempted into a plumbing and drainage policy (cheap first year deal) offered by the water company. The following year it was automatic renewal wasn't it. I took my eye off the ball and it went through. This year every penny counts so I'm scrutinising everything including the reminder letter. It will be renewed automatically unless I cancel and it's £220. Does this seem high to anyone else?
I did have someone out to clear a blocked drain last year. Have no idea what this would normally cost.

why not save the money into a naintainence pot like for your boiler too. Might be cheaper."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Just a quick update. This policy was on offer for the first year at £1 a month. Can't remember what it was the second year. This year it is £220.
Today I 'phoned to cancel. They actually offered, if cost was the issue, to reduce the premium to £130. I was so astounded I cancelled anyway - if only because I felt they had been taking the 'p' trying to get £220 out of me.
Seems it pays to haggle though.0
