the only one in the handbook thats like that is the runflat indicator do you have runflat tyres?
it says
flashing: a tyre is punctured reduce speed and stop the vehicle
if the light is permanently on the system is faulty have the system checked by mini services

You can reset the RFI light by following the instructions in the handbook.
If you need help or a decent resource try:

thanks-i did post whether you could reset the light-but erased that question as I thought it might be dumb!
Thanks a lot!0 -
As has been mentioned, it is the indicator that shows if you have a puncture, and works irrespective of what sort of tyres you have. It uses the ABS sensors to detect if one wheel is turning at a different rate to the others, which would happen if it was flat or going flat with a slow puncture.
However when you have new tyres fitted then it needs to be reset. The switch to reset it is under the handbrake.0 -
Hi
Check all your tyre pressures - if one is down on preesure even by 3 psi plus , that will put your light on. Pump it up to approx 10lb above its norm, then drop it to its proper pressure. On some vehicles this will work to switch the light off. If one is down, you may well , obviously, have a tyre thats got a slow puncture which would obviously need sorting anyhow.
DID I read you'd had new tyres?? if so, it could well be it (the sus one) is not sealing properly on the rim and thus losing press. and thus switching the light on. That is, after all what its for ( the light that is
Take it back to where you got the tyres fitted in that case and ave them check it. You can try doing the reset but there's no point if you do have a genuinly leaking tyre for whatever reason.
hth you..
