Energy Saving Trust Credit Check

I am hoping to have some energy saving work carried out to my home. A local Authority Grant will cover the majority of the cost but there is a payment of around £2k I will have to make. After jumping through various hoops I managed to get a form for an interest free loan from the Energy Saving Trust. I was rejected for the loan on the basis of a credit check carried out by Callcredit. I signed up for a Noddle (Callcredit) credit check and they have no info on my credit history. I have held a bank account for over 30 years and been at the same address (and on the electoral roll) for 14 years and have had various loans, credit cards, mortgage etc. yet Noddle have no information.
I signed up for a clearscore credit check and I have a better than average rating on their website.
The only way I can appeal the loan decision is to get a credit report from Noddle.
I have e-mailed Noddle to complain and am awaiting a response.
Has anyone had a similar problem or can anyone offer any advice

Call Credit didn't do the credit check. The lender did.
Your accounts may not report to Call Credit, hence the lack of data. None of the CRA ratings mean anything.0 -

The lender in this case is the Energy Saving Trust. My rejection letter states "Callcredit PLC is the credit reference agency used by the Energy Sving Trust when assessing applications for credit. You can obtain details of personal information held by Callcredit PLC by visiting (Noddle website)0 -
The letter is correct. The lender uses their data to run a credit check.
The lender is the one who does the credit check.0
