school christmas fairs are not that long off. My kids always end up buying more cuddly toys every year from them.0

How about a childrens home in romania or some such place? I sent a bunch of stuff out to romania last year, those kids really do have nothing, I'd adopt the lot of them if I could

Or your local Salvation Army place - they usually make up parcels for deprived children at Christmas.
I know you said you're reluctant to give them to a charity shop, but would you consider giving them to a local hospice shop? Hospices need funds because they mainly run on donated/shop-earned funds and they provide a wonderful service.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

If Romania won't have them you can always try the Brownies. They had a stall at our school fair and it was great. All donated cuddly toys were placed in a nice array on the floor and attached to different coloured strands of wool. These were fed through a large box and pinned to a back board. Children paid 50p or £1 (can't remember how much), picked a strand of wool and pulled and pulled; the anticipation as they waited with baited breath to see which teddy/beanie/animal they had won was great. The little girls loved it and had lots of goes. Loads of money was raised and it was a great success. You could do this at school fete to raise money for the school/PTA/Brownies or even at a childs party as the going home pressie (one way to declutter your dd's bedroom!!).0

You could contact shoebox appeal they might take them and add them to boxes. I worked with someone couple of years ago and they always took extras to bulk out some boxes>Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0
