                    however not a charity shop
i have 100's of soft toys, mostly disney and mostly beanies although all the beanies arent disney. I have tryed them on ebay before with no such luck  I want to try them once more however if they then dont sell i want to give them to charity, but to whom?
Most are brand new with tags and have been sat on my wardrobe/soft toy chain since i brought them. There is nothing wrong with them. I am reluctant to give them to a charity shop as most in my area bin soft toys because they get so many
Any ideas? I am in the south west?

How about a local hospital or children's home??

Your local hospital will probably be very grateful pap. I used to work in a hospital and the fundraising shop sold new/nearly new donated toys for the hospital charity.
Bit difficult giving them to the children's ward because of little parts etc , but the fundraisers will more than likely give them a good home and raise money from them. "Stay Wonky":D "Stay Wonky":D

PAP, do you know of any local schools that are about to have a jumble sale - could donate them there.
Do you have a women's refuge nearby? (your local council will be able to tell you where the nearest one is) - Women and children often arrive from violent homes with the clothes they are wearing and little else (certainly not toys for the little ones). After that, local charity shops might take them. Good luck with this. No I know what you mean IA ... my local hospital wouldn't accept my gorgeous Winnie and Tigger teddys as they may be 'dusty' and they cannot clean them 100%.
I took mine to the local SCOPE house and they were really grateful

As others have said Hospitals or childrens homes?
Or see if your local school/playgroup could make use of them.
Not all charitys are the same though, I used to work for a charity and would use toys that were as new for tombolas as a sure way of getting money for them.
Also what about putting them in a shoe box for the christmas shoe box appeals? Just a thoughtMarch 2006 £15,200+ in debt April £843.64 in debt - Debt Free date Sept 2009
