I think a fair few on here also have mental health issues, myself included.

    No one is ridiculing you.

Everyone has tried to help you as much as possible.

No one here knows the answer to your question as we have never been in your situation, so what do you propose that we do?

The only people that can advise you on such a specialist case are the Insolvency Service - not us.

This has been repeated time and time again, it is the most that any of us can do to help.

Or are you expecting us to call the Insolvency Service on your behalf?

I'd say the tricky part of Witness Protection, is getting a credit history. If you have a new name, there will be no background checks they can run.

Interesting point. If the bankruptcy was in your old name and you now have a new identity, is there anything linking you to your old identity? It seems that under your new identity, you won't actually be identified as a bankrupt.

Just like most, not understanding mental health and if someone had depression you would tell them to pull themselves together and put a funny film on.Nosey old gossips with a lack of knowledge just like The Citizens Advice.......I came here for help through fear and Anxiety and all you do is chastise and ridicule me,you should be ashamed!

What did Citizens Advice advise you should do?
  • As I understand you should have a case officer? This should continue whilst you are under the protected persons scheme you should be in contact with them? Can they contact the Insolvency Service on your behalf?

Do you have any health professionals working with you? They could also contact the I.S?

No-one is judging you on here but the only advice is that you, or someone on your behalf, needs to contact the Insolvency Service.

The OP can't be criticised for the consequences of not attending a bankruptcy meeting. Even if that was put on hold ; the OP can't be expected to earn as much as they did before, because many jobs are public enough to risk being traced.

I would have thought that any witness protection process would have to include a financial "back story". ; to recover some sort of normal life, else they are effectively punished as well.

P.S. Probably not a good idea posting all this on a pubic forum. Sounds like we should delete it all.

    Who has criticised the OP?
Everyone has advised them to contact the IS as they are pretty much the only people able to advise on such special circumstances.

The OP is worried that "the powers that be" will do that.
until the fulfilment of conditions as specified in the Order made by the Court
