Help and Information, please. ANPR and Car Insurance

Hi All,
I'm not going to make a list of excuses here but, I purchased a new car last Thursday, they gave me 5 days free insurance for the car plates to be registered (i bought car from new). I got married that weekend and stupid here, forgot to update current insurance details with the new car details, meaning for the last two days i've been driving with no car insurance. I don't even know what made me remember today, but i'm glad I did, and sad that I hadn't sooner. There is no excuse, I should remember, i've been a complete idiot.
The bridge I cross everyday has an ANPR camera, so i'm assuming that i've potentially been flagged here. I haven't had anyone pull me over but I'm assuming I can expect something through the post soon. I go on my honeymoon tomorrow with this looming over my head and I'm away from home for three weeks. Will someone else be able to fill in the FPN for me or respond to a court summons if I'm not in the country? I don't know what else to do, I have to deal with the consequences I know and i'm expecting a ban, a fine and points. I am beyond disappointed in myself. I'm tempted to go into the local police station myself to get it sorted before I go.
Any information would be appreciated. I know i've been a fool, so i don't need to be told twice. Thanks in advance.

Well wait until if you get something in the post, the cameras on the bridge are probably for traffic flow monitoring.0

They can but they don't , just like the car park cameras.0 -

You're away for three weeks. You have 28 days to respond to anything that comes through - deal with it on your return. Enjoy your honeymoon.0
