Faulty Watch (My rights please)

I had a Raymond Weil watch bought for my 60th birthday in February. (Not expensive as some watches but not cheap either).
Anyway on 10th June whilst out walking the watch face steamed up so I returned it to where it was bought from and it was sent for repair.
I still haven't got it back and before I go into the shop I need to know exactly what my rights are.
If I understand correctly I am only entitled to a refund if the watch develops a fault within 1 month of purchase and beyond that I am only entitled to a repair, replacement or partial refund.
My thoughts are that as we are now 4 weeks down the line a replacement or refund would be the best solution but as I stated I could just know what I am legally entitled to before going back to the shop.

Have you heard at all from the retailer that has sent it off for repair?
Only asking because I once sent a watch in for repair via a retailer & didnt hear anything for weeks. I eventually called them & they said it was back & they had forgotten to call me...Dwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -
Steamed up as in condensation ??
They may well class that as user damage .0 -

I'm not sure what gives you that impression. The watch has hardly been worn (and they have verified no sign of damage) and has not been in water although it is supposedly water proof to 50 metres.
I had been out walking in heavy rain and got soaked. It was also a very hot day and the face partially steamed up. I've had watches a 10th of the price that haven't suffered that issue.0 -
If it was bought for you, then you have ro rights whatsowvee.
The buyer is the person who would have any rights.
Repair, replace or refund. It would be thr choice of the seller to choose the resolution.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Did you see the word 'may' in there?
At the time of making his post, JJ Egan and the rest of us were completely unaware that this watch was supposedly waterproof or water resistant.0
