ING Direct 6.55%

I see that this lasts for 6 months then drops.
Am i correct in thinking that i can invest £3000 every tax year into ISA's?

Then if i were to in vest £3000 into the ING Direct ISA now, then the 6 months would end on 5th April and i could then invest what is there into a NS&I ISA for the next tax year rather than using the NS&I one for 6 months at 6.3%.

Or maybe i am looking at this all wrongly!!

If you did that I think you'd find that you would then have only £3k in ISAs because I believe that the NS&I Direct ISA only accepts new money, so transferring and maintaining your current ISA amount wouldn't be possible.

I think there are several ISAs set to run for at least a year at a similar rate, so you might want to consider those instead, and add whatever you can to a new ISA when April comes around.
