Vodafone Question

Hello MSE Forums :)

I was checking my credit report on Experian and I have a listing for Vodafone saying that I defaulted on the account back in 2013. All was settled in September 2014 but it still shows as it is defaulted and not settled.

I have been in contact with Vodafone who coincidentally cannot find my account on the system but gave me an email address for their Credit Support team.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or has any advice on how to hopefully sort out the incorrect information. Experian have said I need to go through Vodafone as well.

The FSA has no authority over mobile service providers.

You should send a written complaint to vodaphone first, if that proves to be fruitless, there is an ombudsman service that covers mobile complaints, but there are two of them, you need to Google which one covers vodaphone and complain to them.

You can also contact the ICO as well about the data protection breach, re your file showing the wrong information.
